These individuals are unique in their attainments, courageous in their accomplishments, and forward thinking in their activism. From George Edwin Taylor, the first black to run for president, in 1904, to a real-world Rosie the Riveter working on a World War II dive bomber, these men and women have made valuable contributions to the world.
